I really like the concept, and the editing is very tight. The only disconnection is the lack of performance, since it's not quite clear that Ben is the "star" (as I've mentioned, he definitely needs to be featured more prominently earlier on). I think there needs to be some aspect of him performing the song (preferably on some sort of stage, in costume). Possibly you could seed this through the video and have this as the last situation he is put in, to tie the whole concept together?
